Meet our most powerful, high-capacity whole house water filter—The AquaOx XL. Built for homes with 4+ bathrooms, this premium system offers a massive service flow of up to 37 GPM—ensuring zero pressure drops, even when showers, sinks, and laundry are running simultaneously. It’s the ultimate solution for homeowners who demand the absolute best in water quality without compromise. Engineered to remove industrial byproducts, heavy metals, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and more, AquaOx XL guarantees pristine, better-than-bottled water everywhere you turn.
Like its smaller sibling, the original AquaOx, the XL model is Made in the USA using premium NSF-certified materials, but with even more capacity and a specially designed pre-sediment filter. Coupled with our advanced AquaOx Electronic Backwashing Head, the system self-cleans every few days—keeping your filter media fresh, efficient, and ready to protect your family for 10+ years.
The Elite Choice for Larger Homes
- Supercharged Filtration: Employs the same multi-stage media (catalytic carbon, KDF 85, coconut shell carbon, garnet, and Filter AG) as our standard AquaOx, but in higher volume to handle higher flow rates.
- Massive Flow Rate (37 GPM): Perfect for households with 4+ bathrooms, multiple occupants, and high water demands—no more worrying about pressure drops during peak usage.
- Engineered for Peak Performance: Electronic backwashing cycles prevent channeling and fouling, ensuring you get the same superior filtration day after day.
- 10-Year Warranty + 1-Year Money-Back Guarantee*: We stand behind the AquaOx XL with robust coverage, so you can invest with confidence.
What It Removes
Like all AquaOx systems, the XL is designed to tackle a wide range of contaminants, from everyday impurities to stubborn chemicals and metals:
- Chlorine & Chloramines: Removes harsh chemical tastes and odors for cleaner, safer water.
- Heavy Metals (KDF 85): Targets lead, mercury, arsenic, iron, and hydrogen sulfide—common culprits in well and city water.
- Industrial & Agricultural Runoff: Filters out pesticides, herbicides, VOCs, and more, safeguarding your family against hidden toxins.
- Sediment & Particulates: Removes dirt, rust, and debris with the included heavy-duty pre-sediment filter plus the main filter’s multi-layer media.
- Organic Compounds & Microbes: Inhibits the growth of bacteria, algae, and fungi, promoting cleaner, fresher water from every tap.
Filter Media Overview
- Catalytic Carbon: Breaks down chloramines and VOCs, ensuring water is free from chemical byproducts and synthetic pollutants.
- KDF (85): Reduces iron, hydrogen sulfide, and heavy metals—an ideal media for bigger flow systems like the XL.
- Coconut Shell Carbon: Refines taste and odor, trapping residual chemicals and enhancing overall water flavor.
- Garnet & Filter AG: Provide an additional layer of sediment filtration and prevent channeling, allowing consistent performance at high flow rates.
- AquaOx Electronic Backwashing Head: The automated control valve that regularly cleans, re-levels, and rejuvenates the media bed, ensuring no drop in efficiency.

Installation & Maintenance
Due to the XL’s higher flow capacity and heavier weight, we strongly recommend hiring a licensed professional plumber for installation. The unit connects after your main water shutoff and pressure regulator, with a 3/4" drain for backwash. Once you’ve filled the tank and let the media soak, simply run the initial backwash cycle (approx. 20 minutes), and you’re ready for high-volume, high-performance filtration.
The AquaOx XL automatically backwashes every three days—no manual involvement needed. Check the pre-sediment filter periodically to ensure it’s capturing debris efficiently and not impeding flow. From there, just enjoy some of the cleanest, freshest water your home can have.
Upgrade to The AquaOx XL—the biggest, boldest, and best whole house water filter on the market. Experience unmatched flow rates, unrivaled capacity, and uncompromising water quality for decades. No expense spared. No corners cut. Pure, premium water for every room in your home.
