Solar Generator FAQs

Start by listing the devices you need to power and their wattage requirements. Add up the running wattage of the devices you expect to use at the same time, then account for any additional startup wattage. Next, compare that demand with the power station's continuous output and battery capacity. Battery capacity, measured in watt-hours (Wh), helps determine how long the system can power your devices

Many solar generators and portable power stations can be recharged without solar panels using an AC wall outlet or other compatible charging source. Available charging methods vary by model, so check the product specifications for supported inputs and charging requirements.”

Battery power stations do not produce combustion exhaust during normal operation, which makes them suitable for many indoor applications. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for ventilation, placement, charging, operating temperature, and safe use.

We offer free shipping on most orders within the continental U.S., excluding Alaska and Hawaii. Eligible returns may be requested within 30 days of delivery. Please review our Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy for eligibility requirements, fees, return shipping responsibilities, and other applicable conditions.

About Our Solar Generators

Solar generators, also known as portable power stations, store electricity in a rechargeable battery and provide power through available AC, USB, and DC outputs. Depending on the model, they can be recharged using compatible solar panels, an AC wall outlet, or other supported charging sources.

Unlike fuel-powered generators, battery power stations do not produce combustion exhaust during normal operation and typically operate with minimal noise. They can be useful for home backup, outdoor activities, travel, and off-grid applications.

When choosing a solar generator, start with battery capacity, measured in watt-hours (Wh), and continuous output, measured in watts (W). Battery capacity helps determine how long you can power your devices, while continuous output helps determine which devices the system can run. Peak or surge output is also important for equipment that requires additional power during startup.

Charging options, port selection, portability, charging time, and operating requirements are also important to compare. Choose a system based on the devices you need to power, expected runtime, charging options, and where you plan to use it.
